Progress and Locked Steps

The path header shows completed steps out of the total. Next up identifies the available step that should receive your attention.

Why a step is locked

A locked step has one or more prerequisites. Open its Requires information and complete every listed step. A step with several prerequisites unlocks only after all of them are complete.

Statuses that require action

  • In progress: return to the step and finish the current activity.
  • Pending or queued: complete prerequisites or wait for the required process.
  • Needs attention: open the step to see whether you need another attempt, must revise work, or need help from an administrator.
  • Failed: contact your organization if no recovery action is available.

If a completed prerequisite does not unlock the next step, refresh the path. If it remains locked, send the path name, locked step name, and prerequisite name to your organization administrator.
