Step Types
The step type determines what the learner must do and when the step counts as complete.

| Quiz | Takes a quiz | Quiz is submitted — or passed | 1–10 attempts; set a pass score for “passed” mode |
| Exam | Gets access to an exam plan | Exam subscription ends | Configure a quota of exam plans |
| Exam review | Reviews exam results | Review is opened | Require all or some plans; optionally show child topics |
| Homework | Submits a written response and/or attachments | On submission — or on approval | Reviewed by a named reviewer or an advisor pool; 1–10 submissions |
| Meeting | Books a session with an advisor | Meeting concludes | Single or group; set duration and reschedule limit |
| PTV (credits) | Platform-only | — | Requires a registered payment handler; superadmin only |

Which step types appear in your builder depends on what is enabled for your organization. PTV, Custom, and the legacy types are not selectable for organization admins.
