Statuses and Permissions
Common learner and step statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not started | The learner has access but has not begun. |
| Pending / queued | The step is waiting for a prerequisite or another process. |
| In progress / active | The learner has started and still has work to complete. |
| Completed | The step or path met its completion rule. |
| Needs attention | The learner or an administrator must resolve a problem. |
| Failed | The required action could not complete or available attempts were exhausted. |
| Skipped | The step no longer applies, often after a published workflow change. |
Roles
- Learner: completes assigned learning and assessment activities.
- Advisor: supports learners and may review assignments or run meetings. Advisor access is narrower than administrator access.
- Organization admin: manages the organization features made available to them, such as members, cohorts, licenses, analytics, products, or workflows.
- Pathiva platform admin: manages platform-wide functions that are not available to normal organization administrators.
Why a menu item may be missing
Pathiva enables capabilities per organization. A role can only use a feature when both the organization configuration and the role permit it. Contact your organization owner if a colleague can see a menu item that you cannot.
