The step type determines what the learner must do and when the step counts as complete.

Which step types appear in your builder depends on what is enabled for your organization.

Platform and legacy types

  • PTV (credits) and Custom integration require platform-level handlers and are not selectable by organization admins.
  • Approval, Message, and Other are legacy types. They are no longer supported and cannot be published.
